It's true, a detail so often missing or unseen in art, that delicately beautiful facial expression...
There is something special about a grandfather's love, too. I always look back, as I know a lot do, at those "special moments" with grandpa that you can never forget.
Me? It's shucking peas in the summer watching thunderstorms pass through the valley...
Its amazing that these frescos have retained their colour, not like modern paints which fade so quickly.
Well, these ones have just been restored, so they look pretty good right now. We'll see how long the modern pigments last.
