Weather report

Two degrees at 9am and raining pretty hard. The mulattiera, covered with autumm leaves, is booby-trapped with pools ankle-deep. Sant'Agata, on the hillside 100 m or so above Cannobio is Christmas-card kitsch with snow. There's no bad-weather muttering now among Cannobio's population. Just a twinkle, and a philosophical, "that's winter!".

Sigh - snow. Lucky you! Ours has been replaced by rain.

I just ran across your lovely blog and have been enjoying the read.

I just visited Levano not too long ago...for a short lunch break...by motor. Guess that kinda thing is out of the question now.

Ciao Bev and welcome! Thank-you for your kind words. Yup, I'm afraid to say that most jaunts of that velocity are out of the question at present! I live in hope, though.
