Weather report : first snow

Three degrees at 9am. Snow on the southern side of the Valle Cannobina and snow on my head as I returned to base after the early morning kindergarten run.

First snows are always magical. :)

As I looked out at my winter wonderland over the weekend it took my breath away with it's beauty, then later as I started to shovel the 4ft of snow from in front of the jeep I again had a shortness of breath but now everything didn't seem quite so pretty. Snow should be enjoyed from in front of the fire looking out of the window, but that's just my opinion.

Magical - and cold. We're thigh-deep in snow with more snow falling as I write this!

Hi Louise,
All we have got is more rain, sleet and black clouds.
