Today in 2007, No. 2

Nine degrees at 9am. Last night's squally rainstorm (through which we three intrepid souls trudged uphill home) has left us with snow on Monte Giove, the mountains of Lombardy and the Alps. And the first wintry wind of the season.


Today in 2007 it was quite a lot colder, and Mama was having a bad hat day...

I have to admit that i have purchased adn lost more sunhats in the last three years than in all the preceeding years put together.

Think of it this way: a lost or forgotten hat is a reason to return to that same place in the future. :)

That's a really nice thought - especially for sunhats, which conjure images of nice, warm and exotic places, like Cairo, for example!
