In the municipal flower beds
A big fat round zero degrees at eight ay-em. Hand-numbingly cold. Overcast. Still.
Against the environmental odds, the petals of the raggedy roadside pansy still maintain their fragile butterfly beauty.

All our pansies have been flattened by the snow and hard frosts. On the positive side,this weather should kill all the bugs.

Pansies are stronger than they look, they seem to revive quickly after a cold spell. We have planted some troughs with them in this year.
