Tulips

Seven degrees at 8:30am. But by the time the kindergarten kids had met my glove-puppet friend Kanga, played hide-and-seek with her, and perhaps learned to say "Where are you?" and "Here I am", the temperature had doubled. My blood pressure similar.

In my world this week, the tulips are the thing...

Hope the good weather continues - but not the high blood pressure! ;-)

Love those translucent tulips.

Flowers have a way of calming the spirit.
Love the last shot - it really shows the delicate petals.

The colours, especially on the third picture, are beautiful. Exactly the kind of thing I need today. Thanks & Love from London x

Hi Louise,
I’m Stefano and I Leave near Milano but I Know Carmine and that part of Lake Maggiore very well, because I’m often in Oggebbio during the holiday, especially in the week-end, where my family have a second house since the 70’s.
The first time I went to Carmine Superiore was probably 10 years ago and then I came other times for some trekking with my family ( a wife, C., and two sons, M.&M.): what a wonderful places!
My favourite trip is Carmine- Cannero; very beautiful also Carmine-Cannobbio but more difficult...
For me was a surprise find your blog but, above all, read the story of you and your family.
In the last week I’ve read a lot of yours stories, and even if I understand only a part of what you write, I like how you describe your world.
I hope to meet you during the next trip to Carmine with my family.
In the meantime I’ll continue to read your story and improve my bad English!
Stefano
