What happened to our fabulous, sunny winter? The morning light should look like this...
The mountains & the lake, people & places, children & chickens, frescoes & felines, barbera & books.

I agree - that's what winter should look like! Pity no one has told winter yet...

Hi Louise, Yes grey here as well, but getting warmer as we get into an Atlantic drift. I've had enough of the cold dull weather. Another nice picture.

Hi Kia - I hope you're enjoying your first Scottish winter. I went to Edinburgh in February (not once but twice) - it was pretty cold! Thanks for visiting and for commenting.

Winter looks like your photo here, even brighter. Italy is so special, how lovely to live on the Lake Maggiore.

Ciao again Louise :) My hubby just got home from work and I wanted to show him your blog. :) I am from Piemonte (a small town not far from the Lago Maggiore) and I wanted to show him your cool pics. Unfortunately my hubby did not see a lot of my (and now yours) lovely region... well, yet! ;) Hope to be able to show him more ASAP. I’ve never been to Carmine Superiore, but after visiting your blog I will think about a trip there one day soon. Hope to visit my parents in May, so… Ok, dinner time, sorry for my rambling ;) and thank you for your visit and comment, I really appreciate. Will be back :) Ciao!

That building looks like a wedding cake!
A lovely photograph. All our days should be lit up with this quality of light. - Sunday, 11 January, 2009
