Jonathan Livingston Seagull loves...

And so do I...thanks to Sindaco Albertella and Vice-Sindaco Cattaneo for despatching workmen to Carmine with such speed - in Carmine, small improvements make a big difference! Vi ringraziamo molto.

Picture: Cannobio embarcadero.
Lago Maggiore on a beautiful winter's day.

Weather report: a thrilling 14°C at midday today, with clear blue skies.

Yes, it's a gull - but not a herring gull like the one we used to have here: http://carminesuperiore.blogspot.com/2008/01/celebrity-story.html

Ciao Louise, all the best for 2011.
I am back at last catching up on all the posts I missed while I was away from computing while on an extended trip to the UK. I really missed my blogging buddies while I was absent from the blogsphere so have enjoyed catching up with your as always great selection of posts this afternoon. Just too many to comment on but some wonderful photographs amongst them.
