ohhh I love copper pots.

The Sock Dropper hides them when he buys them for resale, otherwise I tend to swipe them for kitchen decoration purposes.

Do they make food taste better?

They are beautiful! Have never cooked in copper and also wondered what makes them so special - will have to check it out!

Hello Karin -- the beauty of copper, apart from the look of it, is that it conducts heat very very efficiently. So a saucepan of water e.g. boils in the blinking of an eye, and you have far more control over gastronomic time and space - remove from heat and it cools quickly, put on heat and it warms almost instantaneously.
