Quote of the week No. 13 : On getting started with that writing project

One degree at 10am. Gloomy and drizzling.

A bone-chilling day.

A day to split oneself a few extra logs and take a snooze in the big red chair, in front of the delightful Charnwood Country 4.

Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), a figure who needs no description.

"Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working."

Oh really? Damn! Bang goes the snooze.

The image is Picasso, obviously...

Sleep tight! Sounds like a nice way to spend the day. Let inspiration find us at work tomorrow! :-)

Great picture, useful thoughts for any day.

Oh my... what a lovely painting! I am not always sure I understand or appreciate Picasso's deconstructionism. But this one I did! Describes my mood exactly on a snowy Sunday morning. The children and husband are still asleep and perhaps I can lay back in my own red chair and dream.

Hey, I found you through Braja and I love your blog, and your story.
I'm also an expat, living in Italy's backyard.

Ciao Bella, and thank-you for dropping by! If you're an expat, you may be interested in a new blog carnival, organised by LadyFi (see the comments for the "Bully" story for her link) ---

Great painting, and excellent quote. Sometimes writing is inspired while I'm doing physical work, but it is work.

I'm new here. My name's Chris and it's a pleasure to meet you. You're blog's lovely.
