Motherhood means ... No. 10
I want to go pee-pee (run! run!)
I am going pee-pee (yikes!)
I have gone pee-pee (oh dear)
If I don't get to the potty right now I will go pee-pee (run, run, run fast!)
If I had got to the potty sooner I wouldn't have made pee-pee in a puddle on the rug (oh dear)
And, the Holy Grail of all potty-training tenses...
If I hadn't got to the potty quickly I would have gone pee-pee in a puddle on the rug (phew! job done!)

LOL! You forgot to mention the whole new language of going potty when it's number 2 that is on the way...
Or as my kids put it once: look, there's some camel poo on the living room floor! - Wednesday, 14 January, 2009

Sigh. We've just started round two of potty training with our three year old. He's been... resistant.

I remember dragging that little potty chair everywhere when my oldest was little. She wouldn't go on a big potty only that little plastic potty chair. I remember at the mall I'd have to put my unpaid for merchandise down and go running out to the car with her so she could go on that little potty.
Oh, those were the days.
When you have kids you really do learn a totally different language don't you. They make it up and they expect you to fully understand it. :)
