Quote of the week No. 10 : On Christmas

A perfect Christmas eve morning in Carmine. Dry, sunny, and, in the sun on the churchyard, warm enough to lift the heart. But today it's turned overcast and drizzly. Perhaps we'll have a white Christmas, who knows.

But if you are not a child, there is something you can do - and that is, awake on Christmas morning with children in the house. Their bright eyes and shining cheeks are enough to restore even the most jaded adult's faith in the magical.

Thank God for Christmas. I hope yours is magical too.

Hi Louise and Co,
A lovely morning, the sun has decided to make a showing, but a cold north east breeze. Strange that Christmas day morning weather was always like this. Happy Christmas to you all in Italy

I was thinking the same. It is fantastic to see Christmas through the eyes of my children. Merry Christmas to you all

This is so true. I love the photos and the banner on your blog. This is my first visit. I do not know any bloggers from Italy so it is wonderful on a double level to see you blog. Hope your Holiday is filled with Small pleasures and ample measures of joy.

Christmas is magical when seen through the eyes of children... although when they wake up at 5 in the morning, it takes a while for the magic to seep through!
