Six degrees at 9am. There's nothing beyond the walls of the churchyard but a chill fog and a capricious breeze.
Carmine is starting to fill up with people here to stay over the Carnevale holiday. It's been a long January with only a couple of cats for company.
It's good to see the smoke starting to rise from other chimneys.
The mountains & the lake, people & places, children & chickens, frescoes & felines, barbera & books.

Nice to find this blog about Carmine. I will tkae a look from time to time to read the latest news ;-).
We own the house in Inferiore behind Gehards. We've met also once down at the beach.
By the way, I think Cesarina is 94 and one of her comments as I've talked to her around 3 weeks ago, carrying some logs was: "I'm 94 now and I've needed just once a doctor in my life. If I would stop working, I would die."
Cheers

Hi
I'm glad you've found us too! Hope you enjoy reading, and perhaps we'll meet again at the beach this summer. Cesarina is a real marvel isn't she?! - Wednesday, 30 April, 2008
