Transformations

Eighteen degrees and fine. A beautiful mackerel-sky sunset this evening brought everyone out of their houses to watch. And for a moment, when the hills of Lombardy turned russet, it seemed that I was looking, not at the foothills of the Alps, but the mountains of Andalucia's Sierra Nevada.
